The Phoebe House Program is semi-structured in that Monday, Tuesday morning, Wednesday, Thursday morning, Friday and every second Sunday are "Program Days" and residents are required to be at Phoebe House taking part in the individual and group program.
Tuesday and Thursday afternoons are set aside for business appointments such as counselling, medical and legal.
On Saturdays and every second Sunday there is "program free time" for women to attend to their lives outside the program.
The therapeutic groups are held three days a week and aim to facilitate a process of personal change, as well as addressing relapse prevention, parenting, emotional and physical health and lifestyle issues.
All women at Phoebe House participate in a process of individual counselling focusing on enhancing an awareness of themselves in the contexts of their lives.
Every second Sunday there is a compulsory outing designed to promote healthy drug-free social activities.
Morning Meetings are held three days a week to address general issues arising from communal living. All women at Phoebe House are required to participate in housework and cooking roster.
The average stay at Phoebe House is 6 months, but this is dependant on individual need. The first three months are considered an assessment phase and appropriate referral may be made at this point.
Phoebe House is staffed 7 days a week, 24 hours a day.
